PBIO)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology degree you will be taught by world-leaders in the field of Psychology and Biology, with a distinctive science perspective. You will study psychological accounts of learning as a process of human development, that take place in contexts that include the family, early years provision and schooling.<\/p>\n<p>This course offers you the opportunity to discover how approaches to education impact upon learning and development, and gives you the knowledge and skills to understand how psychology can inform learning. It will provide you with a sound basis for pursuing a wide range of future careers including teaching, youth work, educational or psychology, counseling and social work. Psychology influence on human development and personality. The nexus between psychology and learning represents an exciting and cutting edge field of study with diverse theoretical and methodological approaches.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be taught by experts in Biology and Psychology who will use their research to inform their teaching, and you\u2019ll have the opportunity to conduct your own research while exploring the relationship between the two disciplines. The course has both theoretical and practical components \u2013 you\u2019ll benefit from opportunities to gain practical experience of working in biological and psychological contexts to apply your theoretical knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>The course includes core and optional modules in a range of areas of psychology such as biological, cognitive, developmental and social psychology, with a specific focus on their application to learning. Our modules are regularly updated to include the newest research in the field, and to reflect the changing role and influence of biology in psychology.
